The knife features Edelweiss flowers, known as the Swiss national flower and as queen of the alpines, and it shows the famous Swiss Mountain "Matterhorn", along with some Marmots, which are cute little animals living in the alpes. So the design represents the home country of Victorinox and it´s Original Swiss Army Knife.
Marmots, because they live in the alpes and are usually associated as Swiss national animals, but they are also home in other regions of the world.
