Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

I have chosen to combine fox and fish because of their colours(strong orange and beautiful greys) and because of the pattern that fish can make. I have just thought that the fire of the fox and the cold greys of fish will make an awesome combination.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

The fox is a very popular character in Romanian folklore - the fox is always dreaming for food: fish or other.

What story does your design tell?

My design presents a beautiful starry night when all is wonderful and all the dreams come true, including the fox's dreams.The fox is now sitting on a pile of fish, free to contemplate the beauty of the universe, now that the problem of food is solved. Basically the design tells the story of a dream come true and the feeling of soothness and peace that comes after that. When the dream is fullfilled, people foxes, etc. can enjoy the beauty of simple life. Well I might be the fox in the story:)

What style did you choose for your design and why?

I have chosed to play with geometry and patches of colour, so that the design can attract visiually when it is little and also intrigue the viewer to get closer to see better what is going on there. And I wanted the viewer to find a story when the design is brought closer to the eye.

Hi, I am Codruta and I am from Romania. I have been a logo designer for almost three years. This is my first design posted on Jovoto and I hope so much it will win. I love Victorinox contests and I dream that one day I would receive a knife with my design printed on it. That would be so awesome!!!
