HARE &TORTOISE ( rabbit & turtle )

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

The origins are in Ancient Greece, still this fable has a global reach.

What story does your design tell?

A version of "Hare and Tortoise" fable. It depicts the victory of the meek over the arrogants.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

Style: linocut/wood engraving - directly made in digital form imitating wood cut techniques. Reason: Minimal and humble, able to deliver notions/feelings that other styles can't. Extensively used to depict such illustrations in past centuries.

"Hi! I am Harry, 33 of age, living in London. I am half developer half designer and I really enjoyed transforming the "Hare & Tortoise" fable into a design for Victorinox. What I like the most of my design is its minimalism and the story it tells. The victory of the meek turtle over the arrogant rabbit.
