I pictured the sheeps movement from the mountains to the flatlands in the autumn.

Traditional or fixed transhumance occurs or has occurred throughout the inhabited world, particularly Europe and western Asia. It is often of high importance to pastoralist societies, as the dairy products of transhumance flocks and herds (milk, butter, yogurt and cheese) often form much of the diet of such populations.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

Sheeps - because I grew up surrounded by them and I love this animals... :)

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

We could say that this sheeps represent, kinda of, the European transhumance culture and a nomadic pastoralism.

What story does your design tell?

my desgin tells the story of Transhumance.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

I choosed to use photography because for the this transhumance I think it is the best visual to use.

Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.
