I found a list of endangered animals in the UK and looked at some photographs of the animals online. I found images of this cute little dormouse and just wanted to create a design regarding it's habitat.
Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?
The Dormouse as I wanted to feature an animal that is endangered in the UK. Its isn't very often you see this cute little mouse as it is nocturnal and spends mosts of its time up in the branches of trees and hedges.
What culture or region does the animal stand for?
What story does your design tell?
My design tells the story of an endangered animal in Europe. The dormouse rarely comes down from branches to the danger of the ground. It can sometimes be found sleeping in an empty birds nest. I wanted to create a design for Victorinox that would remind people of all creatures great and small and realise that endangered animals are living close to your own environment.
What style did you choose for your design and why?
Vector in a cute style. It is the style I know best.
Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.
