Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?
The fox is a majestical and smart animal which is quickly in it´s reaction and always pleasing to look at. Although it´s nice to look at, it never became a pet. It´s neither girly nor masculine and strong by itself but also important for it´s pack. I like the idea behind this kind of "universal" animal .
What culture or region does the animal stand for?
I´m from southern Germany and although it´s a local animal you barely see them in the wilderness.
What story does your design tell?
I wanted to show the peace and beauty that stands for this animal. But on the other hand i really like the "wilderness" of the background. It´s just forrest and wood and peace.
What style did you choose for your design and why?
Animals were probably one of the first things humans decided to draw. So using modern twists like pixelating helps to bring the design to another time. I choose a really traditional animal so mixing it with the lowpolygonstyle makes it really interesting i think.
