My idea illustrates a fable that I studied it at school when I was a child.
Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?
I chose two animals, the fox and the raven.
What culture or region does the animal stand for?
The animals are very common and are present in multiple regions. Also in the region where I am from (Eastern Europe, Romania)
What story does your design tell?
In the fable a crow has found a piece of cheese (here the cheese is replaced with the Victorinox logo). A fox, wanting it for himself, flatters the crow, calling it beautiful and wondering whether its voice is as sweet to match. When it lets out a caw, the logo falls and is collected by the fox. The story is used as a warning against listening to flattery
What style did you choose for your design and why?
I used a cartoon style for this design.
Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.
My country is Romania

Hi, I am Gabriel. I live in Bucharest, Romania. I am an electrical engineer full time and an 2d/3d designer part time. From childhood I loved drawing and painting and I am happy that I discovered this project. It's a challenge for me to compete side by side with professional designers.
