Solution

The beaver is seen as extremely diligent, mainly because of the way it constructs its own habitat. Because of this aspect, it was created the idiom “busy as a beaver”, which refers to the condition of being very industrious, hard working.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

A beaver. Looking at the way that the beaver works, it’s understandable that people are using the analogy to describe a hard working person.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

Not only one in particular.

What story does your design tell?

I chose to illustrate the beaver in a funny way, devouring a tree until only the leaves remain , but I also tried to emphasize the idea of his diligence.

What style did you choose for your design and why?
