Butterfly effect
My moths and butterflies represent the tiny yet meaningful beings which surround us every day.

Solution

Those you can find in many different regions in the world and also in the symbolics of different stories and theories. I'm quoting the theory of the Butterfly effect as an example of an abstract image of this insect.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

I choose butterfly/moth because of its wide symbolics and aesthetic symmetry.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

There are so many types of butterflies and moths in my country (Bulgaria) but what I like about it is that they are pretty much everywhere no matter the shape and colour.

What story does your design tell?

My design communicates a bit of mystery, a bit of curiosity, a bit of adventure lust.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

My design is inspired by the vintage encyclopedia illustrations.

Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.
