Solution

My design proposal for the next Limited Edition of the small Classic pocket knife.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

The snow leopard. I love this beautiful animal. In my opinion, Victorinox could contribute to help this species to survive. For example http://www.snowleopard.org/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=24&zenid=4d4vrf18m1tednisk6916186g0

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

The snow leopard is the National Heritage Animal of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

What story does your design tell?

The snow leopard is a large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. It is listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species because, as of 2003, the size of the global population was estimated at 4,080–6,590 adults, of which fewer than 2,500 individuals may reproduce in the wild.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

Triangle Art, because it suits with the mountains.

Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.

Hi! I am Paul, I am 38 years old, and I live in Romania. I created this design for Victorinox cause I think the humans should care, and do their best to help species to survive.
