One side of the Victorinox Swiss knife depicts two Illuworms; one with in profile, the other with an open mouth. The other side of the Victorinox Swiss knife depicts an Illuworm with an open mouth.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

I chose the "Illuworm" because I created it.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

The Illuworm stands for my personal culture. It also stands for the like-minded culture.

What story does your design tell?

It tells of a future when, perhaps, such a new species [or others] will be discovered.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

CGI because that is my specialty.

Hi! I am Alan J. Bullock and I live in Köln-Rodenkirchen, Germany. I have worked as a designer since 1987. I created this design for Victorinox because I think that a minimalist approach to design is aesthetic.
