Solution

Camels walking in the desert are depicted in a perspectival view to show their unique social inter-relation as a group with a leader that guides them through the expanse. The aesthetic mood highlights the form and color of such unique animals that are in tune with the landscape of the humped sand dunes and beige color tones. It is not only remarkable when an animal's functional evolution of survival adapts to the harsh dry conditions of the Arabian deserts, but the aesthetics of an animal specific to its own specific habitat are appreciated that unveils a poetic bond between function and form.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

The Arabian Camel (Dromedary), because of its admirable adaptation to an extreme habitat of the desert.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

Middle East, Bedouins, Arabian Desert.

What story does your design tell?

Arabian camels have been domesticated to cohabitate with Bedouins in the desert since 2000 years ago. The unique characteristics of these animals elicit patience, loyalty, endurance, family values and love that are highly revered by Bedouins who wander the desert with their animal friends.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

Abstraction of the form with chromatic color scheme.
