The mexican jaguar is an endangered specie usually hunted because of the fear of the populations of been atacked, when in fact it´s just protecting his habitat and it´s natural and only home. It´s a nice, sweet animal that has almost disappeared because of human activity.
Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?
What culture or region does the animal stand for?
This specie has been present from ancestral cultures like the mayas, the aztecs also known as the mexicas, the last prehispanic culture in México. There are proofs of the respect the cultures had for his animal in the ancient potrery, in the archiqueture and murals of this ancients societies. Nowadays, the mexican jaguar live in the Mexican Jungle but there are few specimens.

Two jaguar brothers in my jungle just having fun
What style did you choose for your design and why?
I tried it to do it realistic but I´m not so good doing that on vectors, i wanted to communicated the face of this marvelous animal.
