Small but Powerful
Phyllobates terribilis

The illustration is been fixed on the moment (It's not going to be a vector). We would really appreciate comments and corrections on the composition. Thank's!

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

The "golden poison frog" is an endemic Colombian species. It is known for having the strongest poison. This exotic animal shines as gold and is as small as the victorinox pocket knife (58mm aprox.). This animal's color makes it clearly visible and beautiful.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

Colombia. The pacific coast.

What story does your design tell?

We wanted to make a metaphoric use of the frog and it's power, in order to show how much strength and awesomeness can be inside a small piece such as a victorinox pocket knife. This product is know for the amount of tools and functions it has in such a small space.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

We wanted to mix a han drawn design (illustration) with a flat design on the background.

Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.

We are from Medellín, Colombia.
