Solution

The animals I choose to represent are from different environments (air, earth and water). The animal silhouettes are made from fingerprints. My idea was to represent that when we make contact with the animals all around the world we leave a mark (fingerprint) in their life and it's not always a positive one. We share the planet with animals and with this design I wanted to let the people know that this things happen and we can try from now on to leave a positive mark on these wonderful creatures.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

I choose to represent different animals, the ones that I think are representative and are suitable for my idea.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

Different animals therefore it's international culture.

What story does your design tell?

The story behind the design is that we share this planet with the animals and when it comes to live together (or the other way around), we need to leave a positive mark on their lives.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

Vector illustration, because it's the most representative for the idea I like to express.

I am Andra, I am 26 years old, I'm from Romania and I'm now I am working as an architect in Iasi, Romania. I am very excited about this years theme because I'm an animal lover and it was a pleasure to design it.
