My idea was to combine a mexican typical handcraft like "Talavera", with an iconic animal in danger of extintion: The Jaguar. Instead of his typical dots, I drawed on his body the pattern of Talavera.

Solution
Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?
Jaguar, this animal is in danger of extintion. The population in Mexico use to be bigger, but because of deforestation and illegal hunting it's now in danger.
What culture or region does the animal stand for?
South of Mexico and also other countries of center and south america.
What story does your design tell?
We must care about the preservation of animals, maybe this would be easier when we see them as a work of art, in this case as fragil as Ceramics
What style did you choose for your design and why?
No much color, just whats was needed to representate my idea.
Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.
