Poly Red Panda
Red panda split on both sides

When I was in the 5th Grade we had to do a project on an endangered animal. I took the longest time to choose one that was different. One that really opened my eyes. I ended up choosing the Red Panda. No one in the class even knew it was an animal, but I got prepared I learnt everything I could on the animal. I made my presentation the best you could imagine (for a 10yr old) and I got all my class members to choose my animal as the animal we would adopt as a class. I got to organise the fundraiser and we successfully adopted a Nepalese Red Panda. To this day I have never gotten over my love for the disregarded animal. The face of the Red Panda is in the centre of my design because I want people to look at it and know that Red Pandas exist and are central in our environment. The darkness behind the Red Panda symbolises the darkness it would enter if it were to be announced extinct, but the stars symbolise the hope, the hope we give to the beautiful animal that it will have a future. As a citizen of the world, living in 5 different countries, I chose an animal that means something to the whole world.
