Abstract interpretation of a night bird.

Solution

This design is an abstract representation of a night bird. I did not used a specific reference trying to focus more on the aesthetic purpose of the final design. The back side of the knife represents the color scheme used on the front side. Abstract, minimal and geometric are the words that describes my design perfectly.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

For this one I've decided to illustrate a night bird, not a specific one.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

As long as I decided to use the night bird as the main symbol of the design I don't want to focus on one specific bird.

What story does your design tell?

The design is based only on aesthetic purposes.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

Abstract, geometric, minimal. Why? Because the final object it's small and it could be easily recognized considering the elements and the colors used.
