A selection of my favourite feathery friends.
1/8

Solution

I wanted to show a real selection of birds, pond ducks, flightless, colourful, beaky and billed birds from across the globe. The colour fade from green to blue represents birds from the water to the sky. These birds all have different features and tools just like a swiss army knife!

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

I chose a variety of birds including the flamingo, chicken, mandarin duck, kingfisher and the yellow hornbill. I chose a selection of everyday birds along with some more tropical ones to represent some of the 10,000 beautiful bird species from around the world.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

With such a variety I think these birds can represent cultures across the world.

What story does your design tell?

The beauty and variety of nature.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

I chose to hand draw the birds and colour them digitally so that I could achieve the detail necessary to depict these beautiful birds.

Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.
