The idea is to show this beautiful moth and not forget that even the smallest ones deserve attention.
Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?
I chose the pandorus sphinx moth because it is a gorgeous and quite large moth. It is a North American specimen in the family Sphingidae and even though it is not from where I am I think it is worth it to be shown.
What culture or region does the animal stand for?
What story does your design tell?
Every creature on this earth is unique by itself, the smallest, the biggest it doesn't matter they are all beautiful.
What style did you choose for your design and why?
Abstract, custom illustration. The pixels are very intentional because up close on a butterfly wing is just like little colored pixels and with the small measurements of the knife it will fit perfectly and create exactly the looks of real butterfly wings.
