In the Maya culture, they used to represent and venerate the animals of the region with masks in ceremonial dances. Vector seek to illustrate the colorful design based on existing masks.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

A leopard, a coyote and a toucan, because they are representative of the region.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

Mesoamerica, Mayan culture

What story does your design tell?

The story of an ancestral heritage in our country.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

A vector vibrant color style, to capture the essence in a simplified form of the original masks.
