What is more iconic for Romania than Bran Castle? Or how most people know it as Dracula's Castle.

Solution

Ever since Bram Stoker has published his book, Romania has become the motherland of Vampires. Using this iconic idea, I tried to bring a comedic note to the ordinary vampires. Also i think I've really captured and caricaturized a Romanian authentic vibe within this illustration.

It's Bran Castle, Situated near Bran, Romania.

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

I've chosen this place because it has always fascinated me. Even though i know the real story behind it, the over dramatizations of people have imbued this place with a sense of mysticism and fantastical aura. The scene I've depicted shows a cheery vampire returning home after some "drinks" with his friends on a typical, breezy and cloudy night in Transylvania.

Hi, my name's Bogdan, I'm 22 years old. I live in Romania, Bucharest and I've been trying to be a graphic designer since high school. I've created this design for Victorinox because i wanted to add something lighthearted and fun to their collection. I've set the scene in Autumn because i love earth colors, and they sure contrast well with a Vampire's skin tone. I've tried to keep a simple style when illustrating, but my love for detail has betrayed me once again!
