Solution

Design has to be more than just decoration. Especially in days like these, it is our duty as designers and as artists to make a statement with our work. I want to raise a flag for peace on earth. My design idea takes the color scheme of the rainbow flag as a symbol for tolerance, acceptance and the diversity of life. Each color represents another meaningful place that represents human values.

Statue of Liberty/New York/North America, Eiffel Tower/Paris/Europe

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

Inaugurated in 1886 as a gift of the french people to the United States of America, the Statue of Liberty serves as a symbol of friendship and freedom.
Built in 1889, the Eiffel Tower represents Paris, also known as the city of love.

Hi! My name is Anna and I am 36. I live in Hamburg. I’ve been working as a designer for 15 years. I created this design for Victorinox because I think Design has to be more than just decoration. As a mother of two kids I want to raise a flag for peace on earth because I want my children to grow up in a world of peace and freedom.
