Blue Medina
Chefchaouen (or Chaouen) in Morroco, famous of it's blue & mixed Islamic-European style of building.

There are several famous city or landmark in the world recognized by the colors. For example, Red - Stadthuys & Christ Church of Malacca (Malaysia), Pink - Hawa Mahal of Jaipur (India), Gold - Rome (Italy), Sky blue & White - Santorini (Greece) and Blue - Chefchaouen (Morroco).

I like blue of Chefchaouen because it's blue very relaxing, calming & peace. Moreover, Chefchaouen also unique with it's European architecture fused with the Islamic building, it's richness in hand-make native handicraft and it's much more freedom in Islamic's culture.

Which place, city and country is featured in your design? (place/city/country)

Chefchaouen, also known as Chaouen or Blue Medina (Blue Old Town), located northwest Morocco.

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

No only the blue & it's unique Islamic-European style of building, it's peaceful atmosphere with combination of the flower (and it's colourful pot) & felines (there are some many cats around here enjoying their freedom) make Chefchaouen even more beautiful that just coffee & marijuana!
