We were astonished by this miracle of nature and hoped to be able to represent this magic for other people to feel it. We searched for emotion. Dived into a view that is endless and so is the time, as if stopped in a moment of awe.

The salt flat Salar de Uyuni, Potosí, Bolivia

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

Our idea was to recreate the surrealistic and romantic spirit of this place, known as the largest natural mirror. On the front side we chose to picture the setting sun and a pair of Andean flamingos, which are one of the rarest in the world and typical for this area. The back side shows the piles of salt at night. We aimed for a mixture of romance, dream, hope and pure endless emotion.

We are Rosi and Reni, from Bulgaria. We are freelance visual artists, with passion for illustration and world's unusual beauty. We created the Salar de Uyuni design for Victorinox because we wanted to show the magic of this place.
