A few years ago, a good friend of mine came back from Cuba and shared some amazing stories that made me explore this beautiful country in detail. I did my homework and found this incredible, perfect, +500 year old church located in San Juan de los Remedios. The lines of the building inspired my artwork and I feel blessed to be able to share my interpretation with you, highly talented co-illustrators.

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

I knew that I want to illustrate the beautiful San Juan Bautista de Remedios church from CUBA for this amazing contest because I've genuinely felt in love with the lines of the building and because its tower seems to aim towards the heaven above. This place told me a great story of old times and good friends.
