Copper Canyon - Mexico
Copper Canyon located in the Sierra Tarahumara in the northwest of the Mexican state of Chihuaha.

The canyon system is four times larger in extent and almost twice as deep in depth as the Grand Canyon of Colorado in Arizona, in the United States of America. It is home to the Rarámuris or Tarahumaras Indians.

Which place, city and country is featured in your design? (place/city/country)

Copper Canyon, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

The canyon is home of the Tarahumaras. The legend says that the Sierra Tarahumara was formed during the creation of the world, when the stones were not yet set and malleable. The metaphor refers to a tectonic event that more than 20 million years ago gave rise to this spectacular network of canyons. Its name is due to its copper mines along it.
