For Victorinox classic limited edition annual design challenge with the theme "cities of the world" i decided to take Chichén-Itzá's essence to a bidimentional canvas. Managing to capture this citie's iconography and giving to it a symbolic sense were my first goals. My color palette is inspired by Maya's art and last years Victorinox designing challenge winners. I decided to generate a texture that went from scales to feathers, making reference to Maya's culture god; Kukulcan, who is often represented by a feathered snake. This is because Chichén-Itzá its Kukulcan's tample.
