Transalpina Romania
Rising people's curiosity to discover new places using minimalist design.

I believe that the beauty of traveling stays in the positive energy that a place, a landscape, or a culture offers you and that energy comes along with the awareness of that place. There are plenty of enchanted landscapes, discovered, popular and not yet iconic and my idea is to give you a hint of their existence, their charm and to let you and only you discover the full picture and tell the story. That way, I think the surprise and excitement would be at least in a double measure.

Which place, city and country is featured in your design? (place/city/country)

Transalpina or DN67C (National Road) South end : Ciocadia - North end : Sebeș Romania

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

Described as the highest and beautiful drive road that Carpathian Mountains own, found on romanian land. It's history begins with it's first name as a Strategy Road by the Roman Empire and now serves as a connection between counties. The curvy shape seen from above makes the iconic picture while the real beauty stays in the human perspective capturing the panorama of a wild nature. In this way the design I created offers you the map with an invitation for a drive.
