I have always love the doodle style in drawings and sketchbooks so I decide to give a look alike to the graphic synthesis of Montreal's biosphère, using also the beautiful colors of the autumn and the representative maple leaf of Canada.

Describe why you have chosen this place as a visual? What story does your design tell?

Montreal is one of my favourite places in the world and is also a place where nature is an important issue , choosing the biosphère and the traditional maple leaf represents not only the city or Canada but the importance and respect for the environment and the beauty of the autumn season.

My name is Carlos Rodríguez and I am 32 years old. I live in Puebla, México. I’ve been working as a freelance designer for around 10 years. I created this design for Victorinox because Montreal is one of my favourite places in the world, the idea behind was to synthesize the biosphère as one of the iconic places in the city, at the same time using the colors of canada not only as those of the country but also of the autumn season.
