About the project

Challenge

Thinking about the Beer-Wine-Spirit beverage industry brands have been playing around with ‘Zero-Alcohol’ offers for a while, this sector too is set for significant growth. Our client is a large family-owned Swiss wine trading company that has been setting standards for more than 200 years, enabling the enjoyment of specialty premium wines throughout the DACH region in Europe. So how might they name and present their premium offering to stand out from the clutter of new brands and existing brands with new Zero-Alcohol ranges? 

Approach

Six of our top-notch Graphic Design talents on the platform were asked to design inspiring, fresh, distinctive, and contemporary branding ideas for a new premium zero-alcohol sparkling wine range, targeting middle-class affluent Gen Y/Z consumers from the DACH region. Each creative was tasked to deliver not-less-than 2x ideas including brand name, a brief brand backstory and front label design for both of the wines in only 14 days.

Outcome

The final ideas varied from simplistic to whole stories being told on the label. The client learned to trust the process and was pleasantly surprised with the large variety of on-brand ideas that came through and is moving forward with their favourite ideas.
