The ball game is currently played in North and Central America as a way to respect the Mayan origins. The game was part of a ritual, you can only use the legs, the hips and, in some cases, the head and a kind of cane, to hit a rubber ball that had a put in a stone ring on a wall. The elements of the game represented day and night; life and death.
