Navajo Sand Paintings
The designs and patterns of the Navaho Nation. The true Native Americans.

Inspired by Native American designs, motifs and colors of the Navajo Nation. Navajo Sandpaintings were created as part of elaborate healing rituals or ceremony's. Often refereed to as "places where the gods come and go" in the Navajo language. The back depicts a Navajo Yéi figure- the spirit deity of the Navajo Nation. The most benevolent of such beings or Holy People who are associated with the forces of nature.
