I 'm Laura Lila, a Venezuelan illustrator inspired in Japanese culture and art. Lived many years in Tokyo and am now settled in Barcelona, Spain. I chose a combination of traditional Japanese patterns and flowers, HIMAWARI (sunflower), BARA (rose), among others. Also SEIGAIHA (blue ocean waves). This last pattern has been used in Egypt, Persia, and around the world. In Japan it was used for auspicious events. It is considered a symbol of peace, good luck, and good fortune.
