Hello everyone! My name is Gabriela and i'm a 2nd year design student from Chile.

This pattern was inspired by the Yuan Xiao festival, which is getting more and more popular around the world. The floating lanterns are an iconic element of this celebration and are considered to be very attractive.

The technique used was based on a pattern of illustrated shiny lanterns in contrast with a midnight greyish-black background.
