Selk´Nam Tanu
Pattern from the Tanu costume of the Selk´Nam Tribe, inspired by whales from "Tierra del Fuego"

Solution

The figure in the image represents "Tanu", the spirit of the Selk'Nam culture who returned to earth in the form of a whale. This Culture had more than a thousand years of experience in painting their bodies with different patterns based on nature. The pattern is inspired by Tanu's costume, which is also inspired by the pattern of the whales' abdomen. I chose this pattern for being irregular and simple, collected from nature by an ancient culture, composed only by lines and dots.
