HI, I am Jackie, a part-time designer from South Africa.

This design is a celebration of the Southern Ndebele people of South Africa, the women paint their houses in bright and colourful patterns. The symmetry, proportion and straight edges are achieved freehand, without the use of stencils or rulers!

Even though this pattern is traditional and has been passed down generations, I love how contemporary this pattern is!
